Just like their slogan this year, they didn’t give up ! Indeed, this digital edition of the 2022 Telethon raised more than €500,000 with more than €78 million in pledges for all Telethon events. Throwback to this incredible event.
An incredible setting: Roland Garros
Indeed, it is within the confines of Roland Garros that the second part of this digital Telethon took place, which also included the weekend of the official Telethon.
As a reminder, just over €200,000 was raised for the first part of this 2022 gaming telethon.
For the second part, it was no longer fifty hours of stream but thirty hours thirty hours. Thus, more than seventy streamers had to take turns in order to raise the maximum amount of funds for the Téléthon association.
Everything was led by Juju Fitcats, AdriGeek, paco and FlorianOnAir with immersions with streamers but also challenges directly on the court.
In particular, we were able to follow an incredible match on the Court Philippe Chatrier (central court of Roland Garros). On one side there was Yannick Noah and Pierre LeBegue from one side and the other Mansour Bahrami and Eric Elmosnino the other.
Streamers and streamers were also able to lend themselves to the game. We see for example below Sollivan all smiles after his game.
Digital on TV?
You should know that the thirty hours were broadcast on the Telethon’s Twitch channel. This also took place on the various channels of the participating streamers.
In addition, a surprise was also present with a hybrid show presented by Samuel Stephen which took place on France 3 thanks to the teams of France Televisions.
This was intended to show this digital and gaming universe to as many people as possible and to make viewers want to join the digital adventure.
Telethon 2022, quits or doubles!
It was no small thing to take up the challenge a second time for the Digital telethon. But, they did! You can see the emotion of AdriGeek and Paco above.
At the end of the thirty hours of live, it is not less than 500.000€ which were collected more than doubling the initial prize pool.
Congratulations again and thank you to all the contributors, participating streamers, hosts, personalities and teams from France Télévisions who highlighted this superb event, as well as to all of you for following it.
See you in 2023 to get even more, to help the Telethon association!
